Bellows Falls Community Christmas
 

The Bellows Falls Rotary Club hosted the annual Bellows Falls Community Christmas on December 3rd at the Bellows Falls Opera House with a free movie, Kung Fu Panda 3, and a meet and greet with Santa  Clause afterwards  in the lower  theater.  Santa arrived on a Bellows Falls fire truck, sirens and all.  Punch and cookies were served and each child received a chocolate marshmallow Santa after telling Santa what they wanted for Christmas.  Over 300 joined in the celebration and all had fun.  Fact8 was present to video the event and there are several pictures of the children on Fact8’s Face Book page.

 

Thank you to those Rotarians and ladies from the Woman’s Club who were able to help set up, serve and clean at the end.   Admission was sponsored by the club, refreshments by the Woman’s Club and the Emblem Club, candy by Mr. G’s, the posters designed by Jenn & Kate Aldrich and printed courtesy of The Village Printers.

 

Rotarian, Doreen Aldrich, chaired the event with the guidance of President, Rita Hinds who has chaired the event for 18 years.
