Get ready for an evening of wit, words, and friendly competition as eight spirited teams go head-to-head in the Adult Spelling Bee. A community showdown that promises laughter, learning, and lively spelling battles. The FREE-to-attend event will take place on Friday, May 9, 7pm at the Moose Lodge in Bellows Falls. Whether you're cheering for friends, rooting for your workplace team, or just enjoy the thrill of a good vocabulary duel, there's something for everyone. But only one team will emerge victoriously with the title of Bellows Falls Best Spellers.
While the event is free to attend, the audience is encouraged to bring money to enjoy drinks from the cash bar along with light snacks and to keep their favorite teams in the game. During the first two rounds teams and audience members may purchase Bribes at $10 each or three for $25 and bribe the judges after a misspelled word to keep a team in the game until the elimination round.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Bellows Falls Rotary, supporting local initiatives and making a positive impact throughout our community.
