Steve Fortier Speaks at Rotary Meeting

Steve Fortier, Executive Director of the Meeting Waters YMCA, was our guest speaker on July 28. The Meeting Waters YMCA celebrated 120 years serving area towns last year. Originally chartered as the Fall Mountain YMCA, the name was changed in the 1970s when Meeting Waters farm in Springfield was donated to the Y and became the location for the long running Y day camp. The camp which runs during the summer months and the ASPIRE after school program which runs during the school year in area schools are the main venues through which the organization supports children and families in Windham and Windsor counties.
