Dear Community Partners,

The Rotary Club of Bellows Falls would like to thank the community for the support we have received through the years. This support allows us to help with service projects in the community, provide scholarships, and to support local organizations. We would like to ask that you consider partnering with us again this year. 

As a result of Covid the community spaghetti dinner, the penny sale and our other annual fundraisers were canceled in 2020. Yet the need in the community was greater than ever. We continued to meet via Zoom each week and Rotary members were able to come together in safe ways to work on a number of community projects in 2020.

Here are some of the projects we worked on in 2020:

• Holiday gifts for over 100 area families - These included gift certificates to local businesses, hats, gloves, sock, toys, homemade cookies, candy, toiletries and Christmas stockings.
• Scholarships for local graduates
• weekly mowing of the Waterfront Park
• flower plantings in the Square
• bench renovation at the Saxtons River Recreation Area
• weather protected entry built at the Compass School for temperature checks and Covid screening
• International project: laundry area and chicken coop developed for the Mumias School for Learners with Autism in rural, Western Kenya
